Acadiana is built on family, small businesses, and hard work,  and insurance here should never be one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re protecting a home on a rice farm outside Crowley, a fleet of service trucks traveling service routes, a storefront on Jefferson Street, or relocating to Vermilion Parish because of the new SpaceX development, we help you build coverage around the way you actually live and work.

From homeowners, auto, life, and flood insurance to business and commercial property coverage, our local agents help you understand what matters, what’s covered, and just as importantly,  what isn’t. If you own or manage a business or  commercial building, we’ll review the details with you before a loss occurs, so you aren’t discovering gaps when it’s time to file a claim.

Our approach goes beyond simply finding the lowest premium. We help you understand and manage your total cost of risk,  including insurance costs, deductibles, uncovered losses, claims, downtime, and the steps you can take to prevent losses in the first place. The goal is to protect your business, your property, and your financial future,  not just sell you another policy.

Acadia Parish

Centered on Crowley, known as the "Rice Capital of America." Rural, agriculture-heavy economy built on rice and crawfish farming, with smaller pockets of oilfield-related business. Lower density than Lafayette Parish, more farmland and dwelling exposure.

Iberia Parish

Anchored by New Iberia along Bayou Teche, with a strong Cajun and Creole heritage presence (Shadows-on-the-Teche is a well-known local landmark). Mix of agriculture, seafood processing, and light industry, with meaningful flood and wind exposure near the bayou.

St. Landry Parish

Anchored by Opelousas, the parish seat and the self-proclaimed birthplace of zydeco music. St. Landry sits at the northern edge of Acadiana and carries a strong Creole heritage alongside its Cajun roots, with a rural, agricultural economy built on cattle, soybeans, and timber alongside small-town commerce. The parish also touches the Atchafalaya Basin on its eastern edge, which brings meaningful flood exposure for homes and businesses near the basin, similar to St. Martin Parish.

St. Martin Parish

Home to Breaux Bridge, the self-proclaimed "Crawfish Capital of the World," and bordered by the Atchafalaya Basin. Rural and small-town character with tourism tied to swamp tours and festivals, plus flood risk from basin proximity.

Vermillion Parish

Coastal parish anchored by Abbeville, sitting closer to the Gulf than its neighbors. Fishing, farming, and energy industry all play a role here, and flood exposure runs higher given the proximity to the coast and the Vermilion River.

Evangeline Parish

Anchored by Ville Platte, the parish seat, sitting at the northwestern edge of Acadiana where prairie country starts to shift toward the hill country further north. Named for Longfellow's poem and steeped in Cajun and Creole heritage, with a rural economy built on cattle ranching, timber, and rice farming, plus a well-known crawfish and zydeco festival scene. Less flood-exposed than the parishes closer to the coast or the Atchafalaya Basin, but wind and rural property risk matter more here given the spread-out farmland and older housing stock.

St. Mary Parish

Anchored by Morgan City and Franklin, sitting along the Gulf coast where Bayou Teche meets the Atchafalaya River delta. Heavily tied to the oil and gas industry, particularly offshore services out of Morgan City, alongside sugarcane farming and commercial fishing. This is one of the more flood and hurricane exposed parishes in the region given its direct coastal position, with real storm surge risk layered on top of the usual inland flooding concerns.
